If you receive the following error message when launching the SCCM Console, use the instructions below. You may also see errors in your SMSAdminUI.log file that resemble “The performance counter ‘# result objects in memory’ was not found”.
Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Highlight “Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Console” -> click uninstall.
When the uninstall completes, launch an administrative console window. Type in the command LODCTR /R
When this is complete, reinstall the Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Console and it will work fine.
I was trouble shooting network/port and permissions until I found this fix. Thank you so much, I started pulling my hair out after working on this issue for 3 hours+!
